Rajeev Arora (based in Tanzania) is an international consultant with expertise in the development of export production for textile/apparel industry and export polices in Africa under various bilateral trade agreements, specifically MMTZ-SACU and AGOA agreements. His areas of expertise include Free Trade Zone (FTZ)/Export Processing Zone (EPZ) development, light manufacturing and textile/apparel production and trade, investment promotion and development, management of FTZ/EPZ’s. He has been a Vice President for a U.S. company in Africa for 10 years, responsible for vendor development and quality assurance for production in various countries in Africa. He has assisted various African governments and companies in developing manufacturing under bond and export processing zones and has worked with African government agencies in the development of the apparel industry and of global polices for manufacture under bond and EPZ schemes.
